Rules of Fishing
&
Other good to know stuff...

You will be responsible for replacing any rented gear that you lose.

(Night Trips Only) During the night period of our trip, we will be fishing for squid, and after sunrise, we will be fishing for tuna, mahi mahi, bonito, and whatever else happens to be biting.

Big game fishing can be done on a rotational basis for 3 fishermen at a time. (Provided someone has rented Big Game equipment or has brought their own)

You may want to bring your own coolers for your fish.

You will need to bring your own eats and drinks.  (Sports drinks are recommended)

We also recommend that you get some cheap kneepads. These will help you move around better and make your trip more comfortable.

Must obey commands. (Not many will be given, mostly “reel ‘em up” when we are moving the boat.)

May drink, but no drunkenness. (Too much grog can make you lose your sea legs!)

Practice fishing courtesy and common sense. This will help ensure a fun charter for everyone. Please listen to the instructions from the guide. Obnoxious or dangerous behavior may give reason for the guide to ask you to stop fishing. (You may continue on for the boat ride.)

The Guide will have a first aid kit on board. Please see the Guide if you need to get patched or have hooks removed.

The Guide has extra leaders for those who may need them. Please ask the Guide if you need one.

Gloves are provided for everyone. These are yours to keep.

You may keep all fish that you catch on your gear, or gear that you have rented. You should mark the fish that you catch if you wish to keep them. All other fish will be divided up at the dock at the Guide's discretion.

Cleaning fish will be done at the dock, not on the boat. The movement of the boat makes knife handling a dangerous proposition.

You are responsible for you. You may not hold the Guide or the Captain of the boat liable for any injuries, loss of property, or loss of life. You agree to this by putting your name on the manifest.

There are no guarantees that we will catch fish. (We do expect to catch fish.)

If you are late, you missed the trip. No refund. If you cannot go after you have paid, it is your responsibility to find your replacement.

Seasickness…If you become sick, please throw up over the side of the boat into the ocean. Do not throw up in the head, into the wind, or on other fishermen. We will not be returning to shore for those who become seasick.

If you must make a sitting head call, make sure you flush the commode once after your constitution, and once after wiping. This is to prevent clogging the pipes.

We will have a trash bag for all the trash we generate. Please put all of your trash in the bag instead of throwing it into the ocean.

There are no refunds for this fishing trip for any reason. Once you have paid, your funds are committed. (Unless the trip is cancelled by the Skipper) Please do not ask.

Enjoy the trip and catch the big one! If you should need any assistance, you may call for The Guide. If he has a fish on, you may have to wait.

Good Luck and good fishing!
